Observation 4

1. I am going to do my research paper on the way celebrities in the media affects the public’s body image. In today’s world, young girls look up to celebrities as role models and strive emulate their favorite celebrities appearances. (To Be continued)

2. I plan on using web sites, news reports, TV shows (such as Doctor Phil, The Tyra Banks Show, and other entertainment shows), and research articles (such as magazine articles, books and journals). I could even conduct a survey or search for a survey and analyze it.

3. I think it could be difficult to find a lot of material on the topic. But I think my largest obstacle is myself because I always have a tough time organizing my papers. To avoid this I intend to fully map out my paper by creating a specific outline before I begin my writing process.

  1. The idea is very clear and sounds like a good idea, that will be very interesting to read about. It is also very specific on what you are trying to say. Good Job on first part.

The sources are solid, it's about media effecting people, so the main source in the whole thing has to be the media of course. So good job on that, the surveys would also be a good idea. The survey would probably most effective toward girls.

As long as you can get an outline done, then the paper should just write itself. Just get your sources straight and you should be good. You are going to kick this paper's ass.
